As Black college students we are typically under pressure to meet the expectations of family, community, professors, coaches and others. In the midst of all the challenges of college, we are tempted to forget God’s power and presence in our lives. We can also lose sight of the unique purposes that God has for us as future Black leaders — in our communities, in the nation and throughout the world.
RELEASE2012 is an opportunity for students of African descent (African-American, Afro-Caribbean, African, and Multi-racial students) to:
- Be connected to Black students across the Mid-Atlantic region
- Be empowered through Christ to overcome the challenges we face
- Be equipped to fulfill God's purpose for us on our campuses, in our communities, and in the world.
Come and be blessed!
When: Saturday, February 4, 2012, starting at 10am and ending with dinner at 6pm.
Where: Central Presbyterian Church in Towson, Maryland
Cost: $30
