Who We Partner With

Partnership is central to our vision and practices. We work alongside long-time community leaders, ministers, and organizations.  Each of these are people and places doing kingdom work and seeking justice in ways we are excited to see students learn from and participate with.

Major Partnership Sites:

  • St Teresa of Avila Church, host site for spring and summer programming, offers mentorship and curriculum development to our program leaders.

  • Casa Chirilagua: Christian non-profit doing holistic community development work in a mostly central American community in Northern Virginia

  • Little Lights: Christian non-profit doing holistic community development work in DC public housing sites in Southeast.

  • Computer Core: A non-profit focused on providing communities in Virginia with classes and trainings on digital and professional skills.

  • Our Daily Bread: Small church-sponsored ministry offering friendship and food support for capitol hill’s unhoused community.

  • THEARC Farms: Urban Farm Network run by expertise farmers from to Southeast DC

  • Boone Elementary, Ketchum Elementary: two of the several DCPS and Public Charter schools we have worked with over the years.

*Sites that have served as summer internships in years past: We are always open to adding more as student interest and availability allows.
